Into every blog, people wander.  There will be a few wandering in and out of this one.  To make things easier for you, the reader, I’ll tell you who they are:

MLI – Ms. Love Interest, the Chick in Utah, Usurper of Chihuahua Affection. Very good kisser, cracks me up, sweet as pie, taller than me! More to come after my two week trip to visit her.

The Girl – also referred to as Jen, occasionally.  My “first child,” the wife of My Favorite Daughter in Law, the mother of some of my favorite children.  Periodically referred to as Mrs. K, now that she is married to DIL.  Sometimes, in her role as knight, she is referred to as Sir Bobalot. 

DIL – My Favorite Daughter in Law, married to Jen (aka The Girl, aka Mrs. K, aka Sir Bobalot) and, as the moniker makes clear, my favorite DIL.    The other mother to some of my favorite children and one of the most loving, generous, selfless women I know.

BIT – Butch in Training.  Really, that name is sort of a joke since she really doesn’t need *training* , but now it’s  her Code Name on my Personal Blog.  She’s a good friend, someone with whom I have fun and who makes me laugh.  She is also the protegee of Sir Bobalot and the rest of the Butch Knights of DIL’s Table.

Femme Fairy Goddaughter – a completely (thus far) virtual relationship.  She’s in Roanoke, VA and I periodically give her (wholly unsolicited) motherly advice.   Also known as: hothead, Bella Bella and Cheryl.

InfoDiva – former lesbian, current member of the Duo of Barbara’s Best Friends.   Currently living in Atlanta and far, far, away from where I am.  She started out only an hour away and now, it’s forever.  She’s the one who tells me what I *need* to hear, regardless of whether I want to or not.  She only visits Planet Femme when I’m around to be the tour guide.

Lady Di – former lesbian, current member of the Duo of Barbara’s Best Friends.  I finally went to Massachusetts in March 2009, so we are no longer only virtually friends!

Sprint Everything – the cell phone plan that makes my long-distance-best friendships possible.

There are probably others who I should add.  If one of them sends me an email saying “wtf? Where am *I* in the Usual Suspects?!” then I’ll add them.
